Our first TBR seminar for the fall 2008 semester is scheduled for Monday, September 8th, at 12:00 p.m. in a new location, room 2271C in the Veterinary Basic Science Building.  Dr. Janice Bahr, Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences, University of Illinois, will be presenting her talk entitled, "Ovarian Cancer:  The Use of a Validated Model for Early Detection and Therapeutic Intervention."

The Translational Biomedical Research Seminar Series, sponsored by the College of Veterinary Medicine, highlights fundamental research discoveries with potential to be directly translated into applications that impact human and animal health and society.
